Gusseted Bag Configurations

Gusseted bags come in three primary configurations. Gusseted Stand Up Pouches, Box bottom bags, and Side gusseted pouches. The common element of gusseted bags is, as you might have guessed, the gusset! Gussets provide both added versatility and space, as well as shelf display capability.

Stand Up Pouch

Stand Up Pouches are a versatile choice. First they "stand up" on a shelf, second the gusseted bottom increases the available volume of the pouch.

Box Bottom

A true block bottom pouch, the box bottom pouch has a flat square bottom is commonly used for premium products such as coffee, they combine the flexibility of a pouch with the stability of a box.

Quad Seal Pouch

Quad Seal is a pouch configuration that is lower in cost to a full flat bottom box bottom pouch but with a similar shelf display presentation.

Side Gusseted

Side Gusseted bags are a traditional style of flexible packaging that is extensively used for coffee. They offer a balance of practical storage and efficient use of shelf space.

Flat Pouch Configurations

Custom Flat pouch configurations are commonly used where there is no need for shelf display. Flat pouches can be fold over bottom 2-seal or a 3-seal pouch which can either be supplied to you as a top loading (load the product the same way the consumer removes it) or bottom loading tamper evident configuration, where the product is loaded from the bottom then the pouch is sealed.

2-Seal Pouch

2-Seal Pouches are simple pouches that provide a fold over bottom which conforms to the contents. These are in essence zip lock style bags.

3-Seal Top Load

3-seal Pouches top loading pouches are popular for many uses where a gusset is not required or wanted. 3-seal pouches can be bottom loaded.

Tamper Evident

Bottom Loading 3-seal pouches also called Tamper evident pouches are fast loading and provide default tamper evidence reassurance. No wasting time opening the zipper to fill the bag.

Fin Seal Pouches

Pre-formed Fin Seal Pouches or FFS rolls are both an option. Fin Seals are well know to consumers and gives you the look and feel of an autofilled pouch.

Poly & OPP Bags

Poly bags are a low cost option when barrier is not required. Poly bags and OPP (Oriented Polypropylene) bags are a great choice for consumer goods

Sachet Packaging

Sachet packaging roll stock and pre-made sachet pouches are designed for both samples packaging, and single serving and portion metering application.

Vacuum Seal Bags

More and more customers are looking for meats that are sold in a vacuum food bag because they know it will keep their products fresher, longer.

Specialty Bag Configurations

Shaped and die-cut pouches, spout pouches, and child resistant pouch configurations are used in specialized bag uses where specific characteristics are required. Shaped pouches are employed for marketing or use specific needs, while Spout pouches offer an attractive (and economical) alternative to hard sided liquid containers. Child resistant configurations are designed for regulatory compliance.

Shaped Pouch

Really stand out from the competition with a custom shaped pouch. Shaped pouches can be flat bags or gusseted, and can include a spout.

Spout Pouches

Spout pouches are a economical option for packaging liquids. Spout location and size can be adjusted to corner or top placement. Various spout sizes are available.

Child Resistant

Flexible Child Resistant packaging is available as one-time or "Lifetime" which meets the requirements of 16 CFR 1700.20, in both flat pouches, or as gusseted pouches.

Shrink Sleeves

Shrink Sleeves allow you to easily label and print hard sided containers like cans, bottles, and tubs.
